Abdul Khader built 40 machines for farmers

Abdul Khader Imamsab Nadakattin, an innovative grassroots agricultural machinist from Annigeri in the Dharwad district of Karnataka, received the prestigious Padma Shri award in 2022 from the President of India for creating over 40 low-cost, affordable farming machines.

Grassroots Innovator: Left formal education after the 10th grade to farm, but went on to establish the Vishwashanthi Agriculture Research Centre in Annigeri.


Affordable Equipment: Built over 40 cost-effective machines tailored for small and marginal farmers.
