How to handle Negative thoughts which cause Anger, Irritability, Depression, Anxiety

 Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANTs) are negative beliefs that occur involuntarily in response to certain situations. They are based on core beliefs about yourself, others, or the world. ANTs can lead to: Self-doubt, Anger, Irritability, Depression, Anxiety. 

Some examples of ANTs include: 

Labeling: Using negative terms to describe yourself or others

Personalization: Taking an innocent event and giving it a negative meaning

Blame: Blaming someone else for your own problems

Catastrophizing: Jumping to the worst possible conclusion in every scenario
