Subhash Chandra Bose's death - theories, findings and commissions

Subhash Chandra Bose's death has been a subject of controversy and speculation for many years. The official story is that he died in a plane crash in Taiwan on August 18, 1945. However, there are many inconsistencies and unanswered questions surrounding the circumstances of his death, leading some to believe that it may have been a result of sabotage.

In 1956, the Shah Nawaz Committee, a committee appointed by the Indian government to investigate Bose's death, concluded that he died in the plane crash. However, the committee's findings were widely criticized for being inconclusive and based on unreliable evidence.

In 1970, the Khosla Commission, another committee appointed by the Indian government, also concluded that Bose died in the plane crash. However, the commission's report was criticized for being based on hearsay evidence and for failing to consider alternative theories.

In 2006, the Mukherjee Commission, yet another committee appointed by the Indian government, concluded that Bose did not die in the plane crash and that the ashes in the Renkoji Temple in Tokyo were not of Bose. However, the commission's findings were not accepted by the Indian government and criticized for lack of scientific evidence to support its conclusion.

There have been multiple theories about the cause of Bose's death, including sabotage, murder, and that he may have escaped and lived in hiding. However, none of these theories have been conclusively proven.

In conclusion, while the official story is that Subhash Chandra Bose died in a plane crash on 18th August 1945, there are inconsistencies and unanswered questions surrounding the circumstances of his death, leading some to believe that it may have been a result of sabotage, murder or he may have escaped and lived in hiding. But there is no concrete evidence to support any of these theories.
