How to give high impact presentations

1. Simplify Your Slides: Use minimal text and avoid clutter. One idea per slide is a good rule of thumb.

2. Visuals Over Text: Use images, graphs, and charts to convey your message rather than long blocks of text.

3. Storytelling: Structure your presentation like a story with a clear beginning, middle, and end to keep the audience engaged.

4. Engage Your Audience: Make eye contact, use body language, and interact with the audience to maintain their attention.

5. Practice: Rehearse your presentation multiple times to become comfortable with the material and delivery.

6. Focus on Key Messages: Identify the core messages you want your audience to take away and build your presentation around them.

7. Never speak while having your back at the audience

8 Give rew seconds for a new slide for people to look at the information before speaking on it.

9. Use font size around size 30.

Use easily readable type of font.

10. Our attention goes to objects or images based on - size, contrast, movement. Follow same in PPT.

11. It's not compulsory to use a PPT for a presentation.

12. To control nervousness, visit the room beforehand and familiarise. You can also look at the laptop during the presentation and take three deep breaths.

13. Move around while presenting

14. Move close to different parts of audience over the course of presentation. Creates trust.
