Qualities of a scrum master- what do they mean ?

A Scrum master must have 4 qualities. These are described below:

1.  Teaching is the process of imparting knowledge, skills, and information to others. It typically involves a structured approach where the teacher has a set curriculum and learning objectives for their students. The focus of teaching is on transferring knowledge and helping students understand concepts and principles.

2. Mentoring is a developmental relationship where a more experienced individual (the mentor) provides guidance, advice, and support to a less experienced individual (the mentee). Mentoring is a personal and ongoing process that focuses on the growth and development of the mentee. It often involves sharing personal experiences and providing feedback to help the mentee learn and grow.

3. Coaching is a process of guiding individuals to achieve specific goals or objectives. It focuses on improving performance and enhancing skills. Coaching involves setting specific goals, identifying obstacles, and providing feedback and guidance to help individuals achieve their goals. Unlike teaching, coaching typically occurs in a one-on-one setting and is tailored to the individual's specific needs.

4. Facilitating is a process of guiding groups or teams to achieve specific objectives or goals. Facilitators are responsible for creating an environment where individuals can work together effectively, share ideas, and collaborate. Facilitating often involves designing and leading group discussions, brainstorming sessions, and problem-solving activities. The role of the facilitator is to help the group achieve its objectives by promoting active participation and effective communication.
